Hi! I’m Karen
I live outside Boston with my husband, three school-age daughters, and our mini goldendoodle, Oscar.
For years I used to rush through my days, bringing work home, constantly on edge about missing something important with one of my patients, feeling guilty about everything, and feeling bad for not managing it all.
I also thought other women physicians were handling it better.
But the truth was, many also weren't.
There’s just not a lot of room in medicine to say any of this out loud.
What I needed first was to understand that it wasn’t just me and to stop beating myself up so much.
Then I needed practical solutions and strategies to help me manage better.
With those in hand, having spent the past many years and many certifications studying exactly why this happened and how to avoid it, I am committed to helping as many physicians as I can avoid the distress and pitfalls that affect so many of us. That’s the work I do now with other women physicians, over 500 and counting.

Hi, I’m Karen.
I’m a physician and certified coach, and I work exclusively with women doctors.
I know what it’s like to look capable on paper, and still feel constantly behind in real life.
Over the past several years, I’ve worked with over 500 women physicians who came to me exhausted, taking care of everyone but themselves, and stuck not knowing how to balance work and home life in a way that felt sustainable.
What most of them hadn’t been shown was what was driving that pressure, beyond the healthcare system and the daily demands of the job.
Once they understood it, they made different decisions.
And their lives changed.
