For women physicians who don't have time for one more thing, but know something needs to change now.

For women physicians who don't have time for one more thing, but know something needs to change now.
If you’ve ever opened the EMR
and just stared at the screen…
because your brain is so fried
that typing one more A/P feels impossible.
And thought:
“Should I just quit medicine and go work at Starbucks?”
You're not the only one. And it doesn't have to stay this way.

Rushing between patients. The mental post-it notes. Solving everyone else's problems.
That nagging fear of dropping balls.
And when your job takes so much from you…
free time.
sleep.
patience with the people you love...
It can start to get in your head, too.
You’re used to being the one who figures things out. You don’t usually need help.
So when you haven’t been able to solve this yet…
after a while it’s hard not to start wondering if maybe it's you.
An 8-week CME accredited program for women physicians.
Where you learn practical skills most of us were never taught in medical training… but should have been.
These skills help you move through demanding days without getting constantly derailed…
and they don’t just stay at work.
They show up in how you handle stress at home without snapping or shutting down,
How you make decisions without second-guessing everything afterward,
how you relate to the people you love without feeling drained or resentful,
and how you move through the bigger moments in your life without spiraling for days.
Inside the program, you learn how to:
• stay focused even when work is chaotic
• handle difficult interactions more readily
• finish notes more efficiently
• leave work earlier more often
• come home feeling like yourself again
So you’re not lying in bed replaying the day, not carrying work into your evenings, and not starting the next morning already behind.
You feel rested and have more energy.
You get through your day knowing you made a real difference....
Without being so mentally and physically drained.
You have energy and can actually enjoy time with your family without guilt or distraction.
You have time for the things that make you feel human again.
You don’t need your life to be perfect.
You just want it to feel better.
Less stressful.
More doable.
And it really can.
No more late-night charting.

A warm, judgment-free circle of women doctors who get it.
Many physicians say it’s the first time they’ve been able to speak openly about the pressures of medicine with people who truly understand.
Physicians from every specialty and practice setting across the U.S. and Canada can participate.

Inside this program you will receive both, including Karen’s support through your next negotiation whenever it happens.

I live outside Boston with my husband, three school-age daughters, and our mini goldendoodle, Oscar.
For years as a practicing physician, I was rushing through my days, bringing work home, on edge about missing something, and wondering why my life felt so hard.
I also thought other women physicians were handling it better.
Most weren’t.
There’s just not a lot of room in medicine to say any of this out loud.
What I needed was to understand that it wasn’t just me + practical solutions and strategies to manage better in real time instead of staying stuck in overwhelm.
That’s the work I do now with other women physicians, over 500 and counting.

This experience will be transformative but we want you to feel completely comfortable saying yes. Attend the first 4 sessions, and if you don’t feel it’s a fit for any reason, just let us know. We’ll refund your full payment. No hard feelings, no hoops to jump through. We only want raving fans.
Let’s start with the hidden cost of staying stuck.
A slow leak of your time, energy, relationships, and joy heading towards burnout is also expensive.
You’ve already invested years of training, six figures in education, and so much of yourself in this career.
This program helps protect that investment by helping your career feel sustainable again.
Included Bonus: Personal Negotiation Support
Use it whenever the right opportunity comes along.
When you’re ready, you’ll receive:
- A one-on-one strategy session with Karen plus follow-up support to plan your approach and know what to say (and what not to say).
- Coaching on mindset and communication so you don’t default to “I’m just grateful to be here” energy.
For many physicians, one successful negotiation more than covers the cost of the program.
Whether you're negotiating:
a raise
a four-day workweek
protected admin time
less call
better maternity leave coverage
you’ll have the clarity and language to advocate for yourself.
This doesn't expire.

No.
Many physicians watch the recordings and still get full value.
You’ll have access to everything for a full year, so you can use it in a way that fits your schedule.
Each session includes a short teaching segment followed by live coaching.
Participants can raise their hand to be coached on a situation they’re navigating — at work or in their personal lives. You don’t have to volunteer to benefit. Many physicians find that listening to someone else being coached leads to insights that apply directly to their own lives.
The chat during the calls is often very active. Participants share supportive comments, similar experiences, and ideas that have worked for them. Over time it becomes a place where women physicians encourage and learn from each other.
All sessions are recorded if you can’t attend live.
Participants can also ask questions or request coaching between sessions through Voxer. For those who want additional support, there is also a small-group option with more focused coaching.
No. Many participants never volunteer for live coaching and still find the program extremely helpful.
Much of the learning comes from listening to other physicians being coached and recognizing similar patterns in their own situations.
You can participate in whatever way feels most comfortable for you.
This program has worked for physicians from more than 50 different specialties and subspecialties, and across practice type and nonclinical or leadership roles.
The day-to-day challenges may look different but the underlying patterns tend to be remarkably similar.
The tools we work on focus on how physicians navigate pressure, expectations, and complex environments at work and at home.
Many women physicians wonder about this before joining.
Women physicians come into the program with many different identities and lived experiences. Participants have included physicians who are Black, Indigenous, Asian, Latinx, Middle Eastern, Jewish, LGBTQIA+, immigrants, first-generation professionals, and women navigating many different cultural and family contexts.
Those experiences shape how medicine is practiced and experienced. Your voice and perspective are not only welcomed here — they make the conversation richer for everyone. This program is stronger when women from different backgrounds bring their experiences into the room, and I work hard to create a space where people can speak openly and know their experiences will be taken seriously.
At the same time, many participants discover there is also a strong thread of shared experience in practicing medicine as a woman — the pressure, the expectations, the emotional weight of caring for patients while trying to build a life outside the hospital or clinic.
Women also join the program at many different life stages.
Some have young children.
Some have teenagers or grown kids.
Some don’t have children.
Some are single, partnered, divorced, or rethinking what they want their lives to look like.
Over the first few weeks, physicians often realize they can bring their full lives into the conversation — work, family, relationships, identity, and the complicated realities of navigating medicine.
Many women say it becomes one of the few places where they can speak honestly about those experiences without having to minimize or explain them.
Yes.
The program is taught in a group setting, but there are several ways to receive individual support.
During the live sessions, physicians can raise their hand to be coached on a specific situation they’re navigating — at work or in their personal lives. Many participants choose to be coached directly during these calls.
You don’t have to be coached live during a call to benefit. Many physicians find that listening to others being coached leads to insights that apply directly to their own lives.
For those who want more focused time, there is also a small group option that allows for additional physician coaching in a more intimate setting of 10-12 women.
Participants also have access to Voxer, which allows you to send questions to Karen by voice memo or text privately and receive coaching from her between sessions.
The balance of group and individual support is one of the things participants love the most.
Yes. Many physicians in the program already work with a therapist or psychiatrist.
Therapy can be incredibly valuable for processing experiences, navigating difficult periods, and supporting mental health.
What we do in this program is different, and often complementary.
Coaching focuses on building practical skills for navigating the situations and emotions that show up in everyday life — both inside and outside of medicine. That can include things like charting stress, difficult dynamics at work, parenting, relationships, major life decisions, or periods of uncertainty.
One thing physicians often tell me is that they love their therapist, but their therapist doesn’t fully understand what the day-to-day experience of practicing medicine is like.
Because I’m a physician myself and have worked closely with hundreds of women doctors, we’re able to talk about the realities of the job in a very direct way — the culture of medicine, the pressures, the expectations, and how those show up both at work and at home.
In fact, therapists sometimes refer physicians to this program when they feel their clients would benefit from coaching that specifically understands the professional context.
One physician who had been in therapy for years shared afterward:
“Eight weeks in this program helped me more than eight years of therapy when it came to how I experience my work.”
Not because therapy wasn’t helpful — but because the coaching gave her a different set of tools she could apply in real time in both her professional and personal life.
Many participants find the two approaches work very well together.
Most physicians consider waiting until things calm down.
In practice, that moment rarely comes.
This is designed to work in the middle of a full, real life—not after everything is perfectly under control.
Yes — many physicians use CME or professional development funds to cover the program.
Feel Better offers AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.
At the end of the program, you’ll complete a short survey confirming your participation and the number of credits you’d like to claim. Your CME certificate is typically issued within about two weeks by our accrediting partner.
If your institution requires documentation for approval, the program syllabus and CME details are available here and can be shared with your department or CME office.
Many participants also receive reimbursement through professional development or physician wellness funds.
For Canadian physicians
While AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ are U.S.-based, many Canadian colleges accept equivalent learning activities — particularly those that include live education, reflection, and peer discussion.
Participants from Canada typically self-report the activity through their provincial college or licensing body. We provide documentation of participation and hours to support this process.
If you're unsure whether your institution will reimburse it, it’s often worth asking — many physicians are pleasantly surprised.
If you have questions about CME or reimbursement, you’re always welcome to email us at [email protected] .
Many physicians are able to deduct the program as a professional education or business expense, particularly if they are self-employed or receive 1099 income.
Others use CME or professional development funds through their employer.
Because individual tax situations vary, it’s best to check with your accountant or tax advisor to confirm what applies in your case.
If you need documentation for reimbursement or tax purposes, we’re happy to provide it.
Yes.
A payment plan option is available on the checkout page.
If you’d prefer a different payment schedule, you can reserve your spot with a $1,000 deposit, and we’re happy to arrange the remaining payments in a way that works for you.
Just email [email protected] , and we’ll help you set it up.
Yes. Physicians from Canada regularly participate in the program.
While healthcare systems differ between countries, the challenges physicians face are often remarkably similar — charting that expands to fill the evening, inbox requests that pile up, and the pressure to keep everything moving while still providing thoughtful care.
The tools we work on in the program focus on how physicians approach their work: documentation habits, decision fatigue, boundaries around inbox communication, and the mental patterns that make medicine heavier than it needs to be.
Because of that, the skills tend to translate well across different practice settings and healthcare systems.
Canadian physicians have been an important part of past cohorts and have applied the tools successfully within their own systems.
Continuing professional development
Many Canadian physicians are able to apply AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ toward their CPD requirements.
• The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) generally recognizes AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ as MOC Section 1 credits through a reciprocal agreement.
• The College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) may allow AMA credits to be converted to Mainpro+ credits.
Physicians should confirm the details with their provincial regulatory body or CPD program.
Yes. Many physicians find it helpful to hear directly from women who have participated.
Below is a recorded Q&A with several past participants sharing what their experience in the program was like and what changed for them.
During this live Zoom call (make sure to check time zones, I am on eastern time) we can talk through what’s currently making your work or life harder than it needs to be and whether this program is the right next step.
If it feels like a good fit, we can talk about what joining would look like. If not, that’s completely okay too.
If you’re new to this work, I recommend watching the masterclass first. It explains the patterns that show up most often for women physicians and will help you get more out of the conversation.
If you don’t see a time that works on the calendar, feel free to email [email protected] and we’ll help find a time.
